Yeats plays a meaningful role in the culture and history of Castle Dargan so mural of Yeats and a quote from one of his many trips to Castle Dargan plays a significant role in the overall ambience of the Hall Door Restaurant. The restaurant offers superior Irish cuisine with an emphasis on in-season local produce and fresh seafood from the nearby Atlantic Coast skilfully prepared by a team of expert chefs. With both an Early Bird option and an A la Carte menu to choose from, from 5-8pm each evening an enchanting culinary experience is guaranteed. The Middleton Bar
Whether you have spent the day in the board room or on the Golf Course, you'll enjoy your time in the Middleton Bar. Just like the estate itself it's an eclectic mix; the air of warmth and conviviality is very real to everyone who comes in. Sink into a comfy chair and take time to sit back relax and enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the first tee and 18th hole of our Darren Clarke golf course. Enjoy cocktail hour in the bar with cocktails including Mojito’s, Cosmopolitans, White Russian and much more available for just €5 from 5.30-7pm each evening. The Bar Food menu is extensive and tempting making the Middleton Bar at Castle Dargan a favourite meeting place for both residents and locals alike. Full sit-down Sunday Lunch is available from 12.30 to 4pm each Sunday in the beautiful Courtyard Restaurant, serving outstanding cuisine with excellent service makes for a truly memorable dining experience. Choose from a wide range of starters, main courses and desserts to suit everyone's taste and it is great value with two courses from €17.95, three courses from €22.95 and four courses €24.95. For a light afternoon treat, relax in our 18th century Coach House Lounge and enjoy Afternoon Tea. Originally the stables for Castle Dargan House, the Coach House Lounge retains its original frontage and charm with beautiful high ceilings and an open fire – perfect for tasty afternoon refreshment! Enjoy a selection of house made pastries, freshly baked fruit scones with preserves, delicious finger sandwiches and sweet bites -All gracing a three-tier silver stand complemented with specialty teas or freshly brewed coffee - €14.50pp or €17.50 with a glass of Prosecco. Available between 2pm and 4pm daily. Advance booking is essential.
