Castle Dargan Estate is seeking to hire greenkeepers to join the the team.

The ideal candidates would need to have the following skills;

• Have a high level of attention to detail
• Be a team player with good communication skills
• Have experience using machinery, this would be an advantage but not necessary as full training will be provided
• Have good organisational skills and timekeeping
• Full clean Driving License

Responsibilities include:

• Mowing of Greens, Tees, Approaches, Fairways & Rough
• Bunker Maintenance
• Course Set Up
• Be involved in all other aspects of course and grounds maintenance
• Repairing divots on playing surfaces.
• Hand watering and irrigating turf.
• Identifying and controlling weeds and pests.
• Identifying and controlling turf diseases and disorders.
• Marking of hazards, out of bounds and ground under repair.
• Maintaining bunkers.
• Renovate worn and damaged turf.
• Rolling greens with a turf iron or similar.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From €13.00 per hour
